Rishabh Kumar Singh

Programme Associate

Rishabh is a Programme Associate in CEEW’s International Cooperation team. He manages projects related to energy and resource security; trade and supply chains; industrial decarbonisation; upstream resource efficiency and circular economy; and capacity building, rooted in government engagements, multilateral collaboration, and research on best practices. Rishabh is motivated by contributing to India’s strategies for sustainable development, and actively volunteers to address related social issues.

Before transitioning to public policy, Rishabh served as Deputy Manager in Hero MotoCorp’s Project Engineering department, where he was involved in several brownfield and greenfield projects encompassing new product development, operations management, and technological innovations. His deep engagement in industrial sustainability initiatives instilled in him a profound interest in addressing pressing challenges through rigorous academic and vocational endeavours. Rishabh has also worked with GIZ India on sustainable consumption and production policy projects with the Government of India’s think tank NITI Aayog and various ministries.

Rishabh holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Kurukshetra, India, and is a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Sustainable Management from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow.
