Aditya Khator

Research Analyst

Aditya is a Research Analyst with the Industrial Sustainability team at The Council, focusing on developing an inventory for thermal equipment in Indian industries to reduce emissions. He also explores the feasibility of repurposing existing gas pipelines for green hydrogen and addresses solid textile waste management, collaborating with key stakeholders to shape effective policies.

Aditya previously interned at IBY, Japan as a Business Analyst where he crafted go-to-market strategies and collaborated with industry leaders for market entry and expansion in India and the US markets, and at BarRaiser, Bangalore as a Product Analyst, driving user engagement through data insights.

Holding a dual degree (B.Tech + M.Tech) in Chemical Engineering from IIT Delhi, Aditya conducted impactful research at Denmark Technical University, significantly reducing reboiler duty. His M.Tech project with TATA Power focused on developing a reaction mechanism to minimize soot in coal combustion.

Aditya has excelled in competitions like Cost & Manufacturing and the Business Plan Event at FSAE Australasia and Formula Bharat, earning commendations from the Ministry of Education, India. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, exploring start-up insights, nurturing plants, traveling to new destinations, and mastering guitar with a focus on playing piano-like tabs.
