Adya is a Research Analyst in the Energy Transitions team at The Council. Her work revolves around supporting the transition of Indian households to clean cooking energy fuels, aiming to mitigate the adverse impacts of solid fuel usage on human and environmental health. She is particularly intrigued by the potential of behavioral change interventions, and the utilization of accurate, clean data in facilitating this transformation.
Before joining The Council, Adya worked as a supply chain product analyst and product owner, where she spearheaded the modernization of her company's supply chain for international freight and middle-mile processes. Her efforts centered around enhancing data quality and establishing end-to-end connectivity. Adya completed her graduation in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where she developed a keen interest in data analysis using R.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Adya is a trained Kuchipudi dancer who finds solace in music, cooking, photography, and traveling during her leisure time.
