Ananya Choudhary

Ananya is a Consultant with the International Cooperation Team. At the nexus of sustainability, public policy, global resource and energy governance, and multilateral cooperation, she supports critical research and stakeholder engagement.
Ananya has previously worked with Inara Advisors, a maiden venture by the Ex-Vice President, Invest India- specialising in Market Entry and Business Strategy, Policy and Regulatory Advisory. She was a researcher to the advisor at Sweden-India Business Council and also worked as a field researcher with Lokniti. As part of TATA Capital's CSR program, she was engaged on a project with Sevavardhini to electrify the hamlet of Irshalwadi, Maharashtra. She worked with youths on political engagement during this period and interacted with native groups.
Ananya has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and History from St. Stephens College, New Delhi. At college level, she won a research grant for dissertational thesis titled Exploring migration from Bangladesh to West Bengal: A study of Transnational Identity and Politics. She was fellow with the Centre for Gender, Culture and Social Processes, working on political anthropology, violence and social movements. She has previously written papers exploring themes of refugee crisis, partition history, evolving family archetypes in eras of modernisation, reading down section 377- examining the Supreme Court’s Verdict, etc.
