Designation offered: Research Intern – Sustainable Mobility

Reporting to: Programme Associate

Location: Delhi

Duration: 3 months, possibility of extension based on requirement and performance.

Job Summary:

CEEW seeks to hire an Intern (01 position) who will assist the sustainable mobility team in techno-economic analysis of battery-swapping service. The work may require occasional field visits and coordination with various stakeholders. In addition to the duties and responsibilities outlined below, the Intern should be prepared, as and when necessary, to take on additional responsibilities.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Carry out techno-economic analysis of battery-swapping service for Indian cities.
  • Undertake extensive data collection, and interact with professionals from the sector.
  • Carry out relevant literature review and summarize findings as reports.
  • Assist administrative team for organization of relevant events (whenever needed)

Shortlisting Criteria

Education and experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with specialisation in Electrical/Energy/Urban Planning/Transport Engineering or related programmes.
  • Candidates with prior research experience of conducting desk research is desirable.
  • A fair understanding of the electric vehicle sector in India would be desirable.

Key skills

  • Strong analytic skills including quantitative research methods and tools that are fit for purpose
  • Experience working with software programmes such as MS Office, R, STATA are preferred
  • Willingness to conduct frequent field visits/meetings with stakeholder
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Experience in dealing with stakeholders (industry, academic, government etc.) preferred
