Communications Specialist
Duration/strong>
One year (extendable subject to performance)
Purpose
CEEW seeks to hire a candidate with exceptional storytelling, project management and stakeholder management abilities to build narratives and partnerships that mainstream the climate and sustainability discourse.
In recent years, CEEW has been working on communication projects aimed at making sustainability more entertaining, consumable, and engaging. We have explored various mediums such as cartoons, short documentaries, spoken word poetry, art exhibitions, gamification, data storytelling, and music, among others. These projects have initiated conversations at public forums, debunked myths, simplified complex data, showcased success stories and solutions, and inspired action. The candidate will have the opportunity to expand such projects and develop new ones. They will also have the chance to work with top policy researchers to bring sustainability from the margins to the mainstream and get exposure to the inner workings of one of India’s leading think tanks.
An ideal candidate should have creative thinking, skills in multimedia storytelling, excellent project management and communication. They should be able to engage with external stakeholders, be solution-oriented, detail-oriented, and committed to meeting deadlines.
