Purpose
CEEW seeks to hire a suitable candidate for the position of Research Intern under the Distributed Renewable Energy vertical in the Energy Transition team.
Job Duties and Accountabilities
Research
- Review literature and collate data from primary and secondary sources.
- Assist in undertaking qualitative and quantitative analysis.
- Assist in writing research reports, papers, briefs and issue notes, which could be circulated.
Programme Assistance
- Assist with project implementation, including help with preparing presentations, factsheets, and other communication materials.
- Support efforts to use new media platforms for wider dissemination of CEEW's work and, in turn, closer engagement with the key stakeholders.
In addition to the duties and responsibilities below, the individual should be prepared, as and when necessary, to take on additional responsibilities.
Selection Criteria
Qualification
Enrolled in or completed a master's degree in economics, developmental studies, political science, public policy, and allied fields.
Work experience
Key skills
- Candidates must have a strong research background, quantitative and qualitative data analysis skills, and communication skills (verbal and written)
Desirable skills
- Understanding of various Indian policies and regulations around renewable energy, particularly rooftop solar
Compensation
Competitive compensation – commensurate to the experience and matching the best of standards adopted by the industry or other similar organisations for similar roles.
