Designation Offered: IT Administrator

Reporting to: Manager IT

Job Location: New Delhi

Purpose

CEEW seek to hire a candidate in the Information Technology department, for the primary purpose of supporting the IT team. The incumbent will be responsible for providing high quality of Technology support services to the staff members and external stakeholder. Also, given the current scenario, familiarity with various webinar platforms (Zoom, MS Teams and Webex) to host CEEW’s strategic meeting and events is a ‘must-have’ for this role.

In addition to the duties and responsibilities below, the individual should be prepared, as and when necessary, to take on additional responsibilities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Application Management

  • Extensive use and understanding of various online platforms (Zoom meetings, Zoom Webinar, Restream, MS Teams and Webex etc.).
  • Proven skill in Installing and troubleshoot with Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook.
  • Proficiency knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems and applications.
  • Drafting SOP’s, policy, manual etc. as and instructed by the IT Manager.
  • Set up Google workspaces and MS Active directory user accounts, permissions and passwords.
  • Support on office application installation, Troubleshooting and Activity on both mode offline and online.

Infrastructure and network administration and management

  • Manage and support the IT Infrastructure of the organization, including hardware, software, desktop and shared infrastructure, networks, servers, data centre etc.
  • Install and integrate new hosted server hardware and applications.
  • Provide assistance with technology requirements in conference rooms, and other remote locations, including setting up laptops, projectors, network and internet access.
  • Provide technical support for LAN, wireless LAN, PCs, network printers, webinars/virtual meetings.
  • Support and troubleshoot Windows XP, 7, 8, 10 and Microsoft Office 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016 and any other authorized desktop applications.
  • Expertise in configuration and management of Apple products.

Asset record Maintenance

  • Assign IT asset to each staff and consultant based on need and requirement.
  • Tracking, tagging of IT assets and maintain in stock register and database.
  • Maintaining repair and maintenance records.
  • Maintenance of data backup in external storage as per the defined SOP/guidelines.
  • Preparing reports on the functional process, status as and when instructed by the team lead.

Web-development

  • Basic understanding of Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS (Including version 3).
  • Familiarity and relevant experience in using different Content Management Systems (CMS).
  • Hands-on technical skills in Google Analytics to generate website users report.
  • Working experience in Windows and Linux environments.
  • Maintain regular backups of the database and local directories for recovery.
  • Help CEEW website team to maintain the website.

Selection Criteria

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Engineering, Computer Application, Design or similar degrees.
  • Preferred Technical Expertise
    • Having completed CCNA, MCP and ITIL Foundation certification.
    • Basic Understanding of HTML and CSS.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ experiences in the field of computer hardware and software, trouble shooting, networking and database management

Main Skills

  • Technical skills are essential especially in Zoom, Cisco Webex, MS Office, MS Teams, Adobe reader/writer, Installation of Tally, Macbook troubleshooting etc.
  • Knowledge of coding language HTML, CSS will be an added advantage.
  • Hands on experience in networking, routing and switching.
  • Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of office infrastructure.
  • Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
  • Ability to set up and configure hardware.
  • Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies.
