Purpose 

CEEW seeks to hire a research intern with good writing skills to join the Clean Air Team. The role involves assisting the Clean Air Team in compiling and presenting information on the latest developments in the Indian air quality space. The role also requires tracking global developments in air quality and preparing relevant notes. The role provides opportunities to interact with and learn from the different teams at CEEW and will appeal to those interested in building public policy skills.

Job duties and accountabilities

Research

  • Assist in tracking air pollution-related legal orders, directives, policy developments, etc., especially those relevant to the Delhi-NCR region.
  • Assist in compiling notes on the above.
  • Track important air quality developments from around the world, especially those related to sustainable mobility.
  • Contribute to blogs and research pieces with other researchers.

Programme Assistance

  • Assist with project implementation, including help with preparing presentations, factsheets, and other communication material.
  • Support efforts to use new media platforms for wider dissemination of CEEW's work and, in turn, closer engagement with the wider community.

Selection Criteria

Qualification

  • Enrolled in or completed a bachelor’s/master's degree in public policy or environmental studies and allied fields.

Work experience

  • 0-6 months of experience.

10% Support

  • Good writing skills.

  • Ability to analyse information from multiple sources and summarise effectively.
  • Desirable - Prior experience in similar roles.

Compensation
