Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW) has been Great Place to Work-Certified™.
At CEEW, we are deliberate about what we stand for (and what we don’t stand for!) as an employer. So, if the below description strikes a chord, we would love to hear from you!
We are proud to build careers in public policy and social impact.
CEEW seeks to hire an intern who will assist the Renewable Energy (RE) team in various ongoing projects under the Rooftop Solar program. Some of the prospective projects include assessing the impact of grid integration of distributed renewable energy (DRE) sources on the discom, modelling energy storage applications in the distribution network and developing implementation mechanisms for their deployment.
The Renewable Energy team is one of the seven focus areas at the CEEW. Our work supports India’s - and the world’s - clean energy transition. It does so through timely, research-based interventions based on extensive policy, regulatory, and market analyses. The team also assesses, through surveys, India’s renewable energy jobs potential and skills requirement, the risks facing renewable energy investments, and designing strategic market mechanisms to address the identified risks. We recommend applicants to visit renewable energy team page on CEEW website for more details about our projects.
In addition to the duties and responsibilities outlined below, intern should be prepared, as and when necessary, to take on additional responsibilities and respond to events and developments that cannot be anticipated easily.
The successful candidate is expected to assist researchers in the RE team doing the following:
