Notable because

The open-access plant, aimed at the commercial and industrial (C&I) sector, is expected to generate 33 million units of green energy annually, reducing CO2 emissions by 31,624 tonnes.

The plant will power several leading corporates, including BASF India, KEMS Forging Ltd, VRKP Sponge and Power Plant, and Aurigene Oncology Ltd, through power purchase agreements (PPAs). This highlights growing corporate commitments towards clean energy transitions.
