UltraTech is the largest cement manufacturer in India. A member of the Global Cement and Concrete Association (GCCA), it has committed to a 2050 net-zero target.
Supported by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways’ e-FAST (Electric Freight Accelerator for Sustainable Transport) platform, UltraTech aims to deploy the largest fleet of e-trucks by an Indian cement company. The initiative is expected to mitigate UltraTech’s scope 3 emissions by 17,000 metric tonnes of CO2 annually.

Can digitisation and the expansion of innovative financing models such as freight-as-a-service (FaaS) drive green logistics transitions by reducing inefficiencies and costs?
