Diksha Singh

Research Analyst

Diksha is a Research Analyst with the Power Markets team at The Council. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Finance from Shiv Nadar University, complemented by a professional certificate from the HAAS School of Business, University of California, Berkeley, achieved during a student exchange semester.

Before joining CEEW in a full-time capacity, Diksha interned with the Sustainable Food Systems team, where she co-authored a chapter on Bihar in a report on Advancing Climate Smart Agriculture. Her professional journey also includes internships with Grant Thornton Bharat LLP, L&T, Teach for India, Breakthrough and more.

When she’s not going down a rabbit hole researching, Diksha is an enthusiastic hostess, making her the ideal go-to person for a fabulous weekend party. She loves philosophical banter and enjoys getting to know different people and perspectives. While she loves dancing, her Kathak training has turned her into the unwilling choreographer for aunties at family events.

  • What I believe in

I can never read all the books I want; I can never be all the people I want and live all the lives I want. I can never train myself in all the skills I want. And why do I want? I want to live and feel all the shades, tones and variations of mental and physical experience possible in my life. And I am horribly limited.
