Research Analyst

Garvit is a passionately curious person who is driven by pro-social challenges and out of box opportunities. At The Council, Garvit is working on the Powering Livelihoods initiative that aims to boost India’s rural economy by scaling up the penetration of clean energy-powered appliances for livelihoods.

Prior to joining The Council, Garvit has worked with AYM Syntex Ltd. (formerly called Welspun Syntex Ltd.) as an assistant manager in research and development. He has also interned at Auroville developing digital sustainability ecosystems.

Garvit is a Circular Economy Pioneer from Ellen MacArthur Foundation. He holds an MBA in General Management from Indian Institute of Management Kashipur, M.Tech. in Fibre Science and Technology from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, and B.Tech. in Textile Chemistry from The Technological Institute of Textile and Sciences, Bhiwani.

He loves learning new subjects, following business trends, and reading non-fiction.
