Medhavi works as a Research Analyst in the Low Carbon Pathways team at the Council. Previously, she worked in Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) as a Research Associate in the Financial & Economic Analysis Division. During her tenure, she provided research assistance in various projects such as valuation of 5G spectrum for auction in India, floor pricing in the telecom sector and telecom service price index.

Medhavi completed her graduation in Business Economics from the University of Delhi. A course on Environmental Economics in the last semester inspired her to learn more and she went on to pursue a post-graduation degree in Environmental Economics from the Madras School of Economics. During her post-graduation, she interned with the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change (MoEFCC).

Medhavi has always been passionate about the cause of sustainability and climate change. She wishes to lead by example as she practises a minimalist lifestyle.

Medhavi is an ardent plant lover and spends her weekends tending to her house plants. She also likes reading and enjoys art journaling during her free time.
