Prashant Chaudhary

Programme Associate

Prashant has joined the Council as a Programme Associate with the International Cooperation team. His work focuses on strengthening global governance systems, supporting climate diplomacy, and advancing India's role in multilateral climate cooperation.

Prior to joining the Council, Prashant worked as a Consultant at Climact, where he advised industries and public agencies on carbon offsetting and sustainability strategy. He was a Climate Corps Fellow with the Environmental Defense Fund, where he worked with the Government of Assam to integrate Green Public Procurement into the state's climate action plan. Earlier, he worked as an Inspector with the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, where he was involved in regulatory compliance and enforcement.

Prashant has an MBA in Sustainable Management from IIM Lucknow. He also holds an engineering degree from Delhi Technological University and a law degree from the University of Delhi. Outside of work, he enjoys playing cricket and has a keen interest in shooting and exploring different sports disciplines.
