Priyadarshi works as a Research Analyst in the Industrial Sustainability team at The Council, with design innovation and circular economy as his focus area. His work involves the research and development of innovative solutions and concepts under the Ideator and enterprise promotion program, focusing on clean air initiatives.
Before joining The Council, Priyadarshi pursued a career as a full-time freelancer, collaborating on various new product development projects that were successfully brought to market, serving clients globally. He has also explored entrepreneurial possibilities, such as launching a product on Kickstarter during the COVID-19 pandemic. His Master's thesis project focused on sustainable products using bamboo and addressing the shelf life issue of fruits and vegetables by developing an ethylene-absorbing device for small-scale Indian farmers. Additionally, Priyadarshi has industry experience in Industrial Design as an intern at Tata Elxsi.
Priyadarshi holds a Master's degree in Industrial Design from IDC, IIT Bombay, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Outside of his professional interests, he enjoys trekking and has completed several treks. He also loves tinkering with his 3D printer to create new things.
