Roshan works as a Research Analyst with the Energy Transition team at The Council. His work majorly focuses on distributed renewable energy. His research interests include renewable energy technologies, grid-integration of distributed energy sources, applications of power electronics in renewable energy systems and energy storage.
Roshan holds an undergraduate degree in Energy Science and Engineering and an M. Tech in Energy Systems from IIT Bombay. His Master’s thesis focused on the power quality analysis of grid-integrated solar PV systems under variable environmental conditions. He has done research internships at Augsburg University of Applied Sciences and SgurrEnergy in the field of power systems and renewable energy.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Roshan has a passion for sports, particularly badminton and tennis. He finds great joy in the challenge of learning the unique skills and techniques that each sport demands. He also loves travelling and has a keen interest in photography.
