Sonam is a Senior Communications Associate in the Council’s Outreach Team, where she leads, manages, and executes event projects from start to finish. Sonam comes with a rich experience of 9 plus years with brand management agencies and other corporates. Before joining CEEW, Sonam was working with CREDAI as Manager of Events, CYW, and CWW in their National Office for the past 7 years. At CREDAI, during her tenure, she managed large-scale events and conferences that took place across the globe. She had the honour of hosting Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi twice in her tenure with several cabinet and state ministers. The work also involved communicating with Government bodies, bureaucrats, Knowledge partners, and allied real estate industries to be part of these events.

Sonam is an Integrated Marcom professional with specialisation in Events, Advertising, and PR. She has completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Media Management from Bharatiya Vidya Bhawan and Journalism (Masscom) from IP University, Delhi.

Sonam belongs to the Land of Gods- Uttarakhand, hence her love for mountains is inevitable. She is a big-time foodie and loves cooking and experimenting with different cuisine. Her love for food and exploring cultural and regional diversities has made her an avid traveler and she has visited 5 countries and 14 states in India so far.
