Research Analyst
Swati is a Research Analyst in the Low Carbon Economies team at the Council on Energy, Environment, and Water. In her current role, she focuses on conducting research and analysis to develop long-term emission projections related to agriculture and land use at both the state and national levels. She has been actively involved in formulating net-zero strategies for states such as Bihar, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu.
Swati holds a graduation degree in Foods and Nutrition and a Master's degree in Resource Management from Delhi University. Her academic background, particularly in resource management, encompasses interdisciplinary subjects such as climate change, ecosystem issues and concerns, sustainable habitat, and policies and practices related to climate change.
Hailing from the spiritual town of Haridwar in devbhoomi Uttarakhand, Swati is passionate about nutrition and fitness. She finds joy in reading and watching science-fiction series and animated movies. Swati nurtures her passion for gardening by maintaining a vegetable garden at home, and aspires to become an urban farmer someday.
