Vaibhav Hajela

Engagement Lead

Vaibhav works as an Engagement lead in the Technology Futures team. He works at the intersection of Energy Transition, Critical Minerals & Battery Storage. His work includes fostering collaboration between CEEW and the government ministries. His recent work includes developing guidelines for strengthening the supply chain of critical minerals under the National Critical Mineral Mission with the Ministry of Mines.

Previously, he worked as an assistant engineer with U.P. Power Corporation Limited and was posted in some of the most remote districts of U.P., developing the power infrastructure in rural India. He has also worked with Deloitte India in the Power & Utilities consulting division, where he consulted the Ministry of Power on the monitoring of power sector schemes like Revamp Distribution Sector Scheme, Rooftop Solar, etc.

Vaibhav pursued his bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from DCE, Delhi, and his PGDM in Supply Chain Management from S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai.

Outside of work, he enjoys playing the guitar, reading shayari (especially by Mirza Ghalib), and exploring offbeat destinations far from tourist trails.
