Research Analyst

Vibhuti is a researcher in the Technology for Transition team. An experimental chemist by training, Vibhuti’s work at The Council involves assessing the role of technological innovation in the supply chain and manufacturing of low-carbon technologies, and the supply chain of critical minerals.

She did her bachelor's in Chemistry from University of Delhi. She holds two post-graduate degrees - in Chemical Sciences from the University of Florida (with a specialisation in inorganic chemistry) and in Chemistry from the University of Glasgow (with a specialisation in synthesising lithium-ion battery materials).

Her master’s thesis at Florida was on “Chalcogen bridged tricopper cyclophanates for carbon dioxide fixation and utilisation” and her at Glasgow was on “New Routes to Magnetic Nanomaterials”. Prior to joining The Council, she was profoundly involved in interdisciplinary research and undergraduate teaching at University of Florida.

She has travelled to six countries and is keen on travelling to more. She enjoys reading tales on Hindu mythology, cooking, and listening to music.
