Yashi Gupta
Consultant — Product
Yashi has joined The Council as a Consultant — Product with the Tech & AI team. Her work bridges climate, product, and storytelling, with a primary focus on developing the Climate Resilience Atlas (CR Atlas) and an AI-based Knowledge Management System. As a climate product manager, her aim is to use technology and AI to simplify complex climate data and make the insights more accessible to a broader audience.
Prior to joining The Council, Yashi worked as a product owner of Packt Learning, a digital book subscription service by Packt Publishing, UK. She oversaw the feature development, catalog distribution, and end-to-end customer lifecycle. She also managed internal operations to enhance product efficiency and user experience.
Yashi began her career as a BFSI news editor with CNBC-TV18’s digital desk, where she ideated, wrote, and edited stories on national and international economics, markets, and geopolitics while managing desk operations.
Yashi holds a bachelor’s degree in Physics and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Rajasthan University, Jaipur. Outside of work, she loves simply being. Her favorite hobby is doing nothing—closely followed by collecting and reading books and clicking pictures of every third thing she notices. She also enjoys writing and reading blogs on climate, queer intersectional feminism, and trauma-informed psychology (from a philosophical lens).
