Harsha researches on the legal and regulatory framework of the energy sector. Her focus is geared towards identifying areas of possible reforms to achieve the twin goals of energy access and sustainability. 

Prior to joining The Council, she worked as a litigation lawyer in Delhi and tried her luck with the civil services examination (so she knows the various rabi and kharif crops and the number of world heritage sites in India). She has also worked with the project finance team of Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Mumbai, in the energy, airports, road and real estate sectors.

She graduated in law from the NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad. Her dream is to attend all four grand slams.
