Research Analyst

Udit works as a Research Analyst in the Sustainable Mobility team at The Council. His work is focused mainly on electric bus adoption, operations, and capacity building in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Prior to joining The Council, Udit worked as Research Intern in World Resource Institute, Regional Remote Sensing Centre – ISRO and Town and Country Planning Organisation. During his tenures, he worked on various research topics such as the decarbonising Indian cities, analysis of urban growth through remote sensing and GIS, town planning schemes, and river centric urban planning.

Udit has done Bachelor of Planning from the School of Planning and Architecture, Delhi. He was also the General Secretary of Organisation of Students of Planning (NOSPlan), which is India’s largest body for planning students.

Outside of work, Udit likes to play cricket, trek and has keen interest in history and geopolitics. On weekends, he can be found watching documentaries or reading articles. He has a very special connection to his village Mau (Uttar Pradesh) and keeps visiting the place whenever possible.
