Vandana Vidhani

Research Analyst

Vandana serves as a Research Analyst within the Sustainable Mobility Team. She works in the EV transition space, precisely at the juncture of development and mobility. She derives joy from utilising numerical data to unearth profound insights that propels advancements in the field of mobility.

Prior to joining The Council, she served as a Summer Research Fellow at the Institute of Economic Growth, working on a research project concerning the agricultural produce procurement system in Bihar. Recently, she completed her M.Sc. in Environment and Resource Economics from TERI School of Advanced Studies. Her final-year master's thesis revolved around estimating the Health Vulnerability Index and the economic burden of diseases attributing to cyclones. Vandana completed her bachelor’s in Economics, Psychology, and Political Science from Fergusson College, Pune. She also holds an MBA from Doon Business School, Dehradun.

In her free time, she takes pleasure in reading fiction and embarking on long walks. She possesses a strong affinity for travelling and exploring diverse locations. At the time of writing, she is eagerly awaiting the acceptance of her application for the 'Colonisation of Mars' mission.
