I am joining the Council on Energy, Environment and Water as Senior Programme Lead in the Green Finance Centre Team. I bring over 12 years of experience in climate change, sustainability, and environmental management, spanning the non-profits, Big4 consulting, and financial institutions. Most recently, I served as Vice President in BlackRock’s Financial Markets Advisory practice, where I led innovative product development on net-zero methodologies and decarbonization pathways for hard- to-abate sectors, worked with global investment firms to embed sustainability into decision-making, and provided strategic advisory on climate and biodiversity risks. Prior to that, as a Senior Consultant at EY India, I developed sectoral decarbonization roadmaps, conducted climate risk assessments, and advised corporates on ESG strategy, TCFD disclosures, and sustainability assurance. My career has been guided by the conviction that climate adaptation and mitigation must go hand in hand. I have worked on projects ranging from GHG accounting and carbon offsetting to disaster resilience planning, water risk assessments, and sustainability reporting aligned with global frameworks. Along the way, I have built and led high- performing teams, fostered innovation, and established systems for knowledge sharing to drive collective impact. At CEEW, I look forward to combining my technical expertise in net-zero strategy, climate finance, and policy analysis with my experience in strategy consulting. I look forward to working with colleagues and partners to design and scale climate finance solutions that drive India’s transition to a sustainable and resilient economy. Outside work, I enjoy travelling to the mountains and beaches, learning new dance forms (trained in Kathak, Zouk, and Bachata), and these days, picking up Pickleball. I also love animals and share my home with a rescued cat named Bhupi.
