Vaibhav has a strong expertise in the climate financing space built while working on the design and development of financial instruments over the years. As a Programme Lead at The Council, his work focuses on financial analysis & modelling and risk analysis.Currently, he is working with The Council’s Centre for Energy Finance to bridge the existing information asymmetry on energy finance. He develops financial solutions and provides a simple analysis of the existing issues for a wide spectrum of audience.Prior to joining The Council, Vaibhav worked with the Climate Policy Initiative and CARE Ratings, where his work focused on design and analysis of the financial instruments to unlock private investments in the Indian clean energy sector. He also did credit analysis of the financial institutions and NBFCs to recommend a credit rating.
