Aanya works as a Research Analyst with the Technology Futures team at The Council. Her work focuses on energy storage, indigenisation of the battery manufacturing supply chain, and advanced chemistry cell technologies.
Aanya holds an MPhil in Energy Technologies from Newnham College, University of Cambridge where she worked on a comparative study of LFP batteries and green hydrogen for large-scale energy storage. Prior to her Masters’ degree, she interned at the National Institute of Solar Energy, Gurugram where she worked on the performance analysis of solar EV charging stations in India. She completed her B.Tech from VIT Vellore in Mechanical with Specialisation in Energy Engineering. Additionally, she is associated with the ASME Power Division as the program coordinator for their Renewable Energy Systems Track committee.
Outside of work, Aanya loves landscape and wildlife photography, badminton, dance, travelling, and reading novels by Agatha Christie.
