International Cooperation

The International Cooperation team at The Council seeks to strengthen global climate governance, and enhance cooperation and accountability, calling for a ‘deal for development’ that would be just, equitable, and inclusive. The team undertakes climate negotiations research to resolve complex negotiation issues and table implementable solutions. We brief policymakers, convene stakeholder engagements, inform the media, and support the Government of India with relevant inputs. We further support partnerships between India and other nations and examine issues surrounding accountability, capacity-building, transparency and global stocktake to design strategies for ambitious, equitable climate action.
