Anurag Dey

Research Analyst

Anurag works as a Research Analyst in the Low Carbon Economies team at The Council. His work is focused on modelling and developing various climate change scenarios at a national and sub-national level for India. Prior to joining the Council, Anurag has worked in Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as a Research Analyst in the energy sector. During his tenure, he worked on various research topics such as the global Green Hydrogen Scenario and focused on projects involving sustainable growth in the energy sector.  

Anurag has completed his graduation in Economics (Hons.) from the University of Delhi and post-graduation in Energy Economics from University of Petroleum and Energy Studies. During his masters, he interned in Calcutta Electricity Supply Corporation (CESC) in their research division.

Anurag has always been eager to contribute to the improvement of the climate. He is concerned about the current climate scenario and wishes to make an impact at the grass-root level through his research. Anurag spends most of his weekends playing football. He also likes to spend his free time playing guitar and cooking his favourite meals.
