Christi Kesh

Research Analyst

Christi Kesh works as a Research Analyst at the Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW) in New Delhi. Her work encompasses a deep dive into both international and national carbon markets, focusing on areas such as International and National Carbon Markets, Climate Finance, Deep Decarbonization, Mitigation policy development, Just Transition strategies, and Climate Resilience building for India. In her role, she collaborates closely with government bodies, industry stakeholders, and academic institutions to drive data-driven policy decisions and impactful climate action.

Christi earned her PGDM in Management from the Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal, and completed her B.Sc (Hons) from the University of Calcutta, Kolkata. Over the past years, she has honed her expertise in policy research, funder management, and strategic project management having worked in Policy Advocacy and Policy Implementation in the grassroot levels alongside local and indigenous communities in Odisha and Rajasthan.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Christi is passionate about merging creativity with social impact. She has co-directed documentaries on climate resilience among indigenous communities, organized events for tribal handicraft markets, and pursued fine arts with a Diploma in Composition and Mixed Media.
