Plant and unit level generation of all forms of generation in India

This dataset is a compilation of daily, plant and unit level generation of all forms of generation within the country. This does not include renewable energy generators as they fall outside the purview of CEA or at least historically have. This dataset holds a wealth of information on how generation assets have been used and can be used to hold utilities and generators alike, to account.

This is publicly available data that was scraped and cleaned by us. This was compiled by Deepa Janakiraman at CEEW in her first month here. Please acknowledge her contribution if you use the dataset for any further research. Do go through the small metadata file before you use the data or process it.
