Dishant works as a Research Analyst with the CEEW Centre for Energy Finance.. He focuses on tracking policy, regulations and market developments associated with clean energy finance. He is passionate about Renewables, Electric Vehicles and Hydrogen.
Prior to joining The Council, Dishant worked as a Research Associate at the Natural Resources Defence Council (NRDC) with a primary focus on policy research, including clean energy and climate change, in India. He also supported the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) in project and stakeholder management as well as handling the ministry’s outreach.
In addition to an under-graduate degree in Electronics from the University of Delhi, Dishant holds a postgraduate degree in Regulatory Policy & Governance from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai. During his time at TISS, he interned at the World Resources Institute (WRI) as part of the Hydrogen Policy team, where he performed extensive research. This was instrumental in strategising the Green Hydrogen Roadmap in India.
