How can Collaborative R&D Transform the Cooling Industry?

09 Jul 2021   |   1200–1330 hrs IST

The cooling sector is a critical lever for India’s development trajectory. The Montreal Protocol, the India Cooling Action Plan (ICAP), Mission Innovation and other key initiatives are committed to accelerating the pace of R&D and innovation to enhance access to sustainable cooling. This session will highlight mechanisms that can help galvanize the ecosystem of collaborative technology development and deployment with the launch of a new CEEW study: 'Collaborative R&D for sustainable cooling in India: Institutional reforms to accelerate technology deployment'.

This webinar will bring together key stakeholders from Government, industry, academia, research and civil society to deliberate on generating effective collaboration between public and private entities to ensure a technology-aided market transformation, with the overall ambition of enhancing access to sustainable cooling for all in India.
