Jharkhand Renewable Energy Development Agency (JREDA) , Energy Department, Government of Jharkhand is pleased to host the launch of the Jharkhand State Solar Policy 2022, on 5 July 2022, 0930–1330 IST, at Grand Ballroom, Radisson Blue, Ranchi, Jharkhand. Shri Hemant Soren, Hon'ble Chief Minister of Jharkhand, will be delivering the keynote address at the event.

The state of Jharkhand envisions becoming a leader in solar energy adoption and bringing the energy transition closer to communities, businesses and industries. The Jharkhand State Solar Policy, prepared by JREDA with inputs from knowledge partner, Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW), targets to achieve 4000 MW of solar capacity across a diverse set of applications – by enabling ease of doing business; promoting efficient technologies; creating enabling infrastructure; promoting innovation and locally relevant business models; and equipping its implementing agencies and technical institutions to become best in class.

At this event, we will also share key highlights of the policy, the thought leadership behind the policymaking and key inputs from stakeholders central to the execution of the policy.
