Nikita has joined The Council as a Communications Associate, bringing with her a mix of development sector storytelling and corporate marketing instincts. Before CEEW, she was Senior Officer, Communications at Ipas Development Foundation, where she turned reproductive health and rights work into content people actually stopped to read, launched the organisation's Instagram from scratch, and grew its LinkedIn into a real community. She represented the firm as a Brand Champion across the global Ipas network.

Before that, she spent time at CrowdStrike, where she picked up the sharper edges of digital marketing: demand generation, campaign strategy, analytics that actually get read. 

She holds a Bachelor's in Commerce (Honours) from SRCC, University of Delhi, where she was the Editorial Advisor for the college magazine, Corporate Affairs Head of the Students' Union, and an editor for FICCI's Entrepreneurship Connect. It was here that communications stopped being a fallback and became the plan. 

At CEEW, Nikita will lead the day-to-day running of social media platforms, and translate complex climate and energy research into accessible, narrative-led content across digital formats: explainers, newsletters, long-form articles, videos, and multimedia knowledge products. She is looking forward to scaling CEEW’s digital platforms and taking mainstreaming climate on feeds.

Outside work, Nikita is usually mid-book, mid-journal entry, or mid-reruns of her favorite series, sometimes all in the same week. She likes to walk to clear her head, and hunt down Delhi's hidden food gems, the kind that you don’t find on Instagram. She also likes to remind people, unprompted, that she's from Jammu, and that no "fancy cheese" is as good as the kaladi.
