Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW) is organising a WCEF Side event session “Circular solutions for clean air in cities” on 8 September 2026 as part of the Clean Air Horizons 2026 in Delhi, India. 

A circular solutions approach which prioritises waste reduction, material recovery, and resource efficiency offers a transformative pathway to address air pollution at source while delivering co-benefits for climate mitigation, economic development, and job creation. India is uniquely positioned to lead this transition through initiatives such as the National Clean Air Programme and Smart Cities Mission. This session aims to establish a platform for knowledge exchange with a focus on circular solutions for clean air in smart cities.
