Aman Mansoor

Research Analyst

Aman has joined The Council as a Research Analyst with the Power Markets team. His work is dedicated to strengthening the role of DISCOMs in India’s clean energy transition by exploring decentralized deployment, distribution-level interventions, and the seamless integration of Distributed Energy Resources (DERs), Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and national schemes like PM-KUSUM.

Before joining CEEW, Aman gained practical industry exposure through internships with NTPC, Denso Haryana, and Cummins India. Working across areas such as power generation, industrial automation, and smart actuator technologies helped him grasp the real-world complexities of large-scale electrical systems and reliability testing. Building on this foundation, his broader research interests lie in power system stability, optimization and control, and leveraging machine learning for predictive analysis to enable smarter grid operations

Aman holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Government Engineering College, Ajmer, and a master's in Power Systems from MNIT Jaipur. During his master's programme, he explored the application of Physics-Informed Neural Networks (PINNs) for voltage stability prediction in power systems. Outside of work, he enjoys sketching, writing poetry, and reading across diverse subjects. He also has a keen interest in philosophy, mindfulness, and spiritual learning—pursuits that bring fresh perspectives and creativity to his professional life.
