Ayush has joined The Council as a Research Analyst with the Industrial Sustainability team. His work focuses on decarbonisation strategies for major industrial sectors in India, particularly through electrifying thermal heat demand and integrating renewables for electrical loads. 

Prior to joining CEEW, Ayush worked as an Operational Excellence Engineer at Piramal Pharma, contributing across facilities in Mahad, Navi Mumbai, and Hyderabad. His projects included low-boiling solvent recovery, HVAC optimisation, and raw material cost reduction for generic molecules. Alongside his technical work, he volunteered in Baggar and Palghar, focused on building social, emotional, and ethical learning capacities among underprivileged students.

Ayush holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from IIT Delhi, where he was awarded the Silver Medal for achieving the highest CGPA in his department. His undergraduate research included work on EV technologies, computational fluid dynamics, and internal combustion engine analysis. Outside work, he enjoys reading, singing, and playing badminton.
