Shrey is a Research Analyst with the Sustainable Food Systems team at the Council. His work sits at the intersection of dairy, animal husbandry and agriculture, with a focus on long-term food systems modelling. He also works on questions related to global policy and international trade. 

Shrey is an economist by training, with a specialisation in trade and finance. Before joining The Council, he worked on trade and digital economy policy research at the Ministry of Commerce, Esya Centre and KOAN Advisory.

He holds a master’s degree in Economics from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi, and a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata.
