Sana works as a Research Analyst with the Climate Resilience team at the Council. Her work focuses on statistical analysis and survey research to understand the impacts of extreme heat on health, productivity, livelihoods and coping behaviours, and generate evidence for climate adaptation and resilience. She is particularly interested in the intersection of climate change, public health, survey research and data analytics.

Sana holds a Master’s degree in Survey Research and Data Analytics from the International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), Mumbai and a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics from Hindu College, University of Delhi. Her master’s dissertation examined the relationship between PM₂.₅ exposure and asthma risk among women in India. Prior to joining CEEW, she interned at ICMR-NIE and UL Technology Solutions.

Outside work, Sana enjoys reading, travelling and exploring new cities and food spots. She is happiest planning her next trip, escaping to the mountains or beaches, or discovering a new place to eat.
