Prerna Ojha

Research Analyst

Prerna has joined The Council as a Research Analyst with the Climate Resilience team. Her work focuses on bridging the gap between climate science and public health by analyzing data, policies, and trends to highlight the critical health implications of climate change.

Prior to joining The Council, Prerna worked with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) as an Executive in Healthcare and Public Health at their Central Office in New Delhi. During her tenure at CII, she contributed to on-ground implementation projects, co-led advocacy forums, and authored high-impact reports on critical topics such as One Health Paradigm: Unifying Health for a Sustainable Future, The Future of Healthcare in India, and Climate and Health: Evidence of Current Practices in Resilience and Adaptation. During her postgraduate studies, she interned with the Observer Research Foundation (ORF) and with the Hemkunt Foundation, a Gurugram-based NGO.

Prerna holds a bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy and a master's in Public Health from the Indian Institute of Public Health, Delhi. Outside of work, she loves exploring hidden food gems and savoring a great cup of coffee. She also enjoys reading novels, trekking, and sunsets.
