Rhea Khanna
Communications Consultant
Rhea Khanna is a Communications Consultant with the Outreach team. She supports publications, films, and cartoons at The Council. She aims to make complex climate research approachable, understand what truly makes people adopt behaviours, and generally bring science down to Earth.
Rhea has spent 3 years leading publishing, marketing, and communications for organisations in both the private and public sectors. Most recently, she piloted a digital-first programme with IIM Calcutta to support rural women social entrepreneurs from 2 Eastern Indian states. She has also worked on sustainability communication with Clothes Box Foundation, supporting campaigns with organisations like Boeing and H&M.
Rhea holds a BSc. (Hons) in Communication and Videography from St. Xavier’s College, whence she graduated at the top of her class.
Outside of work, Rhea is found making new friends through badminton and tennis plans, reading, or managing the emotional whiplash of supporting Chelsea FC by going to the gym. She never passes up any opportunity to have a coffee chat, use the Oxford comma, or make a truly terrible pun.
