Rishi Kumar Singh works at The Council as a Communications Specialist. As a translator, Rishi hopes that his work will help disseminate CEEW’s research in the Hindi media. Prior to joining The Council, he has worked with various media organizations.

Rishi Kumar Singh has a master's degree in Mass Communication. He also holds a Diploma in Hindi Journalism from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), New Delhi.

Being an avid lover of Hindi-Urdu poetry, Rishi has closely followed the life and works of Parveen Shakir, a feminist Pakistani poet, known to have changed the way women were looked at in Urdu poetry. He also often writes poetry in Hindi-Urdu, when in the right frame of mind.
