Shubhi Verma is a Research Analyst with the Clean Air team at the Council. Her work comprises quantitative and econometric analyses in the air quality domain. She aims to use data-driven methods to seek answers and gather evidence in the public policy sector. She is also interested in studying the environmental issues facing the country through a socioeconomic lens.

Shubhi holds an undergraduate degree in Business Economics from Delhi University. She completed her postgraduate degree in Computational Social Science, with a specialisation in Mathematical and Computational Economics from IIT Jodhpur. Her academic interests include multiple topics in Environmental Economics, Development Economics, and Econometrics. She has completed internships at the Centre for Civil Society and the Council as well, where she gained experience in quantitative research and policy analysis.

In her free time, she loves to read fiction and poetry, watch movies, and listen to music. She has a great appreciation for art and loves visiting various museums and art galleries.
