Sunita Patra

Research Analyst

Sunita has joined the Council on Energy, Environment and Water as a Research Analyst in the Clean Air team under the CEMS (Continuous Emission Monitoring System) Project. Previously, she worked in the CPCB, Delhi as a Research Fellow for the last 6 years, where she was involved in sector-wise trend analysis and CEMS data analysis to identify defaulting industries and establish correlations between different environmental parameters and industrial processes. She also coordinated with different stakeholders like SPCBs/PCCs, industries, and data providers to ensure continuous data submission to the central database.

Sunita holds a B.Tech degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from BPUT, Odisha. She is interested in learning new programming languages and has experience in Python, GIS, and SQL.

Outside of work, Sunita loves to explore new places and has visited 25 cities so far. She also enjoys cooking and baking, believing that a healthy diet helps to maintain an energetic lifestyle.
