The Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM), in partnership with the Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW), has launched the Sustainable Lifestyles Awards 2026 — a global awards programme recognising excellence in initiatives that promote equitable, inclusive, and sustainable transformations in global consumption and living patterns.

Honouring impactful action across the clean energy transition, three awards categories are open for submission:

Policy – Leading by Acting: for initiatives that incentivise and enable sustainable lifestyle changes and fairness, including for persons in vulnerable situations.

People – Empowering Individuals and Communities: for projects that support education, local leadership, inclusion, and the empowerment of communities, women and youth.

Sector – Transforming Systems: for actions advancing clean buildings, low-emission mobility, affordable low-emission technologies, and other systems-level shifts such as clean cooking and circular practices.

The awards celebrate initiatives that have been completed or have shown significant, measurable progress within the last 24 months and that provide verifiable data demonstrating a shift toward low-carbon or resource-efficient living.

Winners will be honoured at the CEM17 Ministerial Meeting in Riyadh from 11–13 October 2026, offering a global platform to showcase their impact to Ministers, industry leaders, and international stakeholders.
