Vidusshi Pathak has joined The Council as a Communications Consultant with the Outreach team. As part of the New Narratives vertical, she works on multimedia special projects like Sustaina India, combining creativity and strategy to make climate change communications educational, engaging, and entertaining.
Before joining The Council, Vidusshi served as a Project Assistant at the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, Ministry of Culture. Her work included initiatives like the Workshop on Bhartiya Culture: Brand & Power, Viksit Bharat 2047, among others. She also contributed to brainstorming sessions for artwork on the Supreme Court Project. In these roles, she drafted project proposals and concept notes, collaborated with stakeholders, and conducted in-depth research and documentation across art, culture, and literature.
Previously, Vidusshi worked as a Communications Consultant at The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), contributing to outreach campaigns, including TERI’s flagship event, the World Sustainable Development Summit. She developed visual content for social media and websites, and helped create and manage TERI’s podcast, The Earth Pod by TERI.
Vidusshi holds a bachelor’s degree in English Honors from Jamia Millia Islamia and a master’s degree in Comparative Indian Literature from the University of Delhi.
Beyond her professional life, Vidusshi is passionate about storytelling in its many forms, whether through films, books, or art. She enjoys diving into thriller and noir movies during vacations. An avid fan of dissecting Gilmore Girls characters, she also finds joy in rewatching Dark, often joking that she’s forgotten the plot. Her favourite activities include walking, exploring museums and art galleries, and browsing bookstores. She dreams of visiting every country she has virtually explored on YouTube and Google Earth.
