Ahana is a Research Analyst in the Climate Resilience team at The Council. Her work addresses the intersection between the urban sphere and climate risk, through qualitative and quantitative analysis, geo-spatial mapping, and data visualisations.
She has a Bachelor's degree in Physical Planning from the School of Planning and Architecture, Delhi. Her thesis looked at quantifying the climate risk faced by slums in Kolkata and building schemes that would create climate resilient slum redevelopment models. Ahana has a soft corner for people and their stories, which drives her towards research that can help improve quality of life.
She loves to capture portraits, collect and sing indie songs, paint on Sunday afternoons, create poetry, decorate, cook, and of course, plan trips to the most offbeat places.
